Exercise Principles for Older Adults In-Person
About 13.9% of adults 65 and older meet the federal physical activity guidelines for both aerobic and muscle-strengthening activities. Regular physical activity helps prevent or manage many chronic health conditions, reduces the risk of falls, and supports positive mental health. In this talk, CORA Physical Therapy will discuss general exercise principles for older adults including intensity, frequency, time, and type of exercise.
