Summer Reading Kick Off Party In-Person
Get colorful at the South County Library to celebrate the start of summer reading! Come learn about our program where you can earn prizes, get your badges, and enjoy a fun day at the library! Hot dogs, chips, and water will be provided. You'll also have the opportunity to meet some fun animals and get a balloon creation by Jefferson Rose.
The theme of summer reading this year is "Color Our World" so we'll be offering a variety of arts-related content across the county! Sign up on Beanstack by searching for Roanoke County Public Library or pick up a paper log at your favorite RCPL location. The program runs from June 2- August 2. Children ages 0-6 read 10 books and ages 7+ just need to read three books to earn your completion prizes!
