Virginia Boating Safety Education Classroom Course In-Person

Join us for a FREE, Virginia Boating Education Course. The course is sponsored by the Virginia Department of Wildlife Resources.

The class will take place on the following dates: April 24th, April 26th, May 1st, May 3rd and run from 5:30pm-8pm each night at the Glenvar Library in Salem, VA.

You must attend all 4 class sessions and successfully pass the exam to earn your boating certification.

This is a required course, for all boat operators with vessels of 10 HP or greater and those operating a PWC. This is a NASBLA approved course. Please sign up no later than Monday, April 17th to secure a seat. You must be 12 years of age or older to take the course.
